One to one classes are available weekdays 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and occasionally on Saturdays at the House on the Hill.
Classes cost £50 (£25 concessions).
The first session will be around 75 minutes to allow time to discuss your needs and history, afterwards classes last around 50 minutes.
Classes consist of verbal explanation combined with gentle manual guidance in simple everyday activities such as sitting, standing, walking and bending. Classes will usually include the classic Alexander Technique constructive rest practice which involves lying down on a table or the floor with the head raised on books. We will also explore any activities that are of particular importance to you.
I recommend that you wear unrestrictive clothing such as loose trousers or leggings and that you bring slippers or indoor shoes.
